Our employees come from all over Jefferson County. Here, they receive thorough training and supervision, a safe work environment, a paycheck, and the friendship and support of their fellow JSI employees.

Zachary Howell

Zach has worked at JSI for two years. He was referred to JSI by his service coordinator. This is Zach’s first job. Zach states that his favorite thing about JSI is getting to see his friends. He loves to work on the assembly line and be part of a team. Zach’s supervisor indicates that Zach is a hard worker, who works quietly and concentrates on his job. Zach is always respectful of his supervisors and coworkers. Zach also has a jokester side to him, which brings out a mischievous smile. When not working, Zach likes to hang out with friends, play video games, watch movies, play sports, and bowl. Zach dream is to skydive someday.

Matt Sampson

Matt has worked at JSI for nineteen years. Prior to working at JSI, Matt tried a few jobs with a job coach and was then referred to JSI. Matt states that what he enjoys most about working at JSI is the daily routine. He also enjoys packaging items for delivery. Matt’s supervisor indicates that Matt is a hard worker, and is always smiling and happy. When not working, Matt loves to watch sports. His favorite teams are the Cardinals, the Blues, and the Kansas City Chiefs. When asked what he would like for others to know about him, Matt states that he wants others to know that he is a man of few words.

Patrick Siebert

Patrick first toured JSI with his high school. He decided then that he wanted to work at JSI. This became his goal and he worked hard to achieve this goal. Patrick and his aunt volunteered at a local library to help him prepare for fulltime employment. Patrick achieved his goal of working at JSI six years ago. He states that he feels lucky to be working at JSI, believes that JSI is the best place to work, and there is no other place like it. Patrick enjoys coming to work and seeing his friends and supervisors. When asked what job he likes best, Patrick indicated that he likes all jobs equally. When not working, Patrick enjoys playing video games, building model ships, and going to Civil War reenactments. Patrick has a union uniform and hopes to be a part of reenactments in the future. Patrick’s long term goal is to eventually live independently in an apartment. He indicates that he would like for others to know that he is a hard worker, who goes above and beyond, and more than pulls his weight while working. Patrick’s supervisor agrees that Patrick is a very hard worker, goes above and beyond what is asked of him, and is always willing to help out.

Tammy has worked at JSI for 19 years. She indicates that she loves working on the plastic prize eggs.

Brandi Wiseman

Brandi has worked at JSI for 14 years. She loves making friends at JSI and getting to know her supervisors.

Kim Carter

Kim has worked at JSI for 7 years. Kim states that she loves everything about JSI but especially loves to work on the plastic prize eggs.

Richie Dowdell

Richie has worked at JSI for 14 years. He loves working on cardboard recycling.

Brett Breitweiser

Brett has worked at JSI for two years. He likes working on lugs and the plastic prize eggs.

Christina Taylor

Christina has worked at JSI for two years. She states that she loves coming to work, and would much rather come to work than stay home.

Recently, our company teamed up with JSI. They provide many areas of custom work including packaging, kitting and assembly.
